This is the family of my grandfather Kirby Runion Moore’s brother, Luther Lee Moore, and Ethel Clara England. Luther’s parents were Harlston Perrin Moore and Martha E. Lewis; Ethel’s parents were Horace England and Margaret Bell.

I have removed the dates of birth for the children, because some of them may still be alive. I do not have any dates of death for them, either, and there are in general quite a few gaps in my information on them.

Some time between 1926 and 1930 this family moved from the Dallas, Texas area to Arizona.

I would love to share information with anyone related to/researching this family; you can contact me at my e-mail address, which can be found by going to my profile page (there is a link to that page in the About Me section to the left).

  1. Hi Greta, I have a few more brothers and sisters listed, let me know if they are right. I also have a Lewis, William and Fredna. Had Perrin with a different spelling. The one that interests me most here is Horace Lee Moore. On my tree I have his death in Lake Isabella ca. That is where I went to high school and lived for years. Grandpa (Albert Lester ((Ab)) Moore) didn't mention him, or that I remember. I just asked my dad Ronald Albert Moore, he thinks he may have owned a hotel...our family has talked about it, but wansnt sure who he was

  2. These are my grandparents. Luther Lee Moore, Jr. was my father. The only sibling still living is Freddie (Fredna) McPhee in Edmonton, WA. Yes, Horace (my Uncle Hodgie) owned the Lake Isabella Motel with his wife Ursula for many years. He died of kidney failure and is buried in All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach, CA.
