It was actually a resolution I made in a post for Jasia's Carnival of Genealogy!Greta Koehlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05429623811794360612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5324800784948486726.post-31929741437851497192011-02-12T08:02:20.573-08:002011-02-12T08:02:20.573-08:00Valerie - Exactly my thoughts - we can imagine thi...Valerie - Exactly my thoughts - we can imagine things worse than any movie monster! And I've noticed that the scariest movies either don't show the monsters or just show them very briefly.Greta Koehlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05429623811794360612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5324800784948486726.post-14762594536452620602011-02-12T08:00:43.402-08:002011-02-12T08:00:43.402-08:00Barbara - There are still some interesting program...Barbara - There are still some interesting programs on radio, but I think many of them are in danger of disappearing. Our own beloved DC-area WGMS classical radio was bought out a few years back, and I still miss it terribly.Greta Koehlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05429623811794360612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5324800784948486726.post-10110557603241709052011-02-12T07:59:40.580-08:002011-02-12T07:59:40.580-08:00Heather - Oh, dear, our older daughter knows those...Heather - Oh, dear, our older daughter knows those songs, too! Seems we both lived in VA, MA and CA. I haven't listened to the radio in ages, maybe I will begin again. (Usually it is ITunes on the computer, or cds, pretty sad.)Barbara Poolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07440544740334032378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5324800784948486726.post-34253470537055950982011-02-07T06:45:23.343-08:002011-02-07T06:45:23.343-08:00Alas, WCRB has gone all classical and we miss the ...Alas, WCRB has gone all classical and we miss the silly songs. I feel I have permanantly scarred my daughter, who went to the Harvard/Yale game and sang "Fight Fiercely Harvard" and all the other 20 somethings looked at her like she had rocks in her head. Of course, a rousing chorus of "Poisoning Pigeons in the Park" didn't help either!Heather Wilkinson Rojohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17704949156266722016noreply@blogger.com
