We bought i...Nancy - That's a cardinal flower. We bought it for $3 and stuck it in the ground, and it just took off. It has flowered less since the hot weather hit, but the leaves and vines still look pretty. Kerry - You are too kind. We live in a swamp here in Northern Virginia, and some stuff grows like crazy, but other stuff struggles. Linda - Yeah, those day lilies are kind of my babies. I think I need to replace some of my wild ones with cultivated ones that won't try to take over the rest of the flowerbed.
