Oh, Greta, I love your peach-colored iris! I have several colors but haven't seen peach for a long time. If you ever have to divide them, maybe I could send you some money and you could send me some rhizomes? I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your flowers.
I am joining the Iris fan club here. The peach one is beautiful. Mine were already to bloom, nice big buds (or whatever you would call them) and it SNOWED. Froze them all. I still had some later bloomers that I was very pleased with. I am new to irises just in the last two years. One of the few things the rabbits or javelina don't eat.... much....:) Greta, again beautiful, thanks for sharing.
Nancy - These are my "darlings' among my peach-colored irises. I have another set, unfortunately the most prolific irises that I have, that make long stems and flop over! But I don't have the heart to yank them out.
Jo - ooh, so sorry to hear that about your irises; it's always such a shame when the weather beats up on them. Usually we get unseasonable heat for just enough days to make the blooms wilt, but we did pretty well this year.
I think the iris tops my list as the most beautiful flower. Something happened to mine....I really need to plant some more after seeing yours.
